We have managed to reduce energy consumption significantly over the course of the past years. Benefiting the environment by reducing energy consumption has been and still is an important objective for all the sites - for reasons of climate and resource protection and for sound economic reasons.

CO₂ emissions
There is a direct correlation between reductions in specific energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. Shown here are the total emissions caused by our production. This includes the CO₂ emissions resulting from the combustion of fossil energy sources in our production sites and the emissions caused indirectly by the consumption of electrical energy. This volume of CO₂ is emitted by the power plants.
