Packaging

The majority of our lamps are sold in folded boxes, which consist mainly of recycled cardboard and paper. They are usually shipped in corrugated cardboard boxes made from materials with a high recycled content. The recycled content of the boxes and the cardboard lies between 70% and 90%.

Only 4% of the lamps are still sold in blister packs containing a small proportion of plastic as this packaging is requested by our retail customers. But in contrast to PVC, the plastic material used (PET – polyethylene terephtalate) places a smaller burden on the environment in terms of its manufacture and disposal.

The printing on the packaging uses only solvent-free inks and dispersion coatings.
