World premiere: the new Halogen Energy Savers - the clever alternatives to wasteful incandescent lamps
Climate protection with the new energy-saving halogen lamps from OSRAM
With the new OSRAM Halogen Energy Savers, energy saving could not be easier. Out with your old light bulbs and in with energy-saving halogen lamps. That's all there is to it! It is very easy to refresh your lighting at home and save energy and money at the same time. The new Halogen Energy Savers are ideal replacements for ordinary light bulbs not only because they improve the quality of light but they also last at least twice as long and use up to 30 percent less electricity. And because these energy-saving all-rounders have standard screw bases they can be used in any living room, bedroom or bathroom, and in any table light. The new lamps also have an excellent visual impact. Halogen Energy Savers look like conventional incandescent lamps and are available now in the shops from 1.99 euros in different shapes to cover every possible lighting need.
The wide range of halogen energy-saving lamps means that there is virtually nowhere in the home that cannot benefit from brilliant energy-efficient halogen light. In classic bulb, candle and reflector versions, the Halogen Energy Savers are ideal for every home and virtually every light fitting. This means an end to the preconceptions that energy-efficient lighting has to be expensive, that the light is not pretty and that it will not fit in conventional light fittings.
Impressive all-rounders - right to the end
With Halogen Energy Savers tailored to individual lighting needs it is possible to kill two birds with one stone. In terms of its brilliance and color, their light matches the warm light of an incandescent lamp, and they save 30 percent energy, which amounts up to 18 kilograms of CO2 during the lifetime regarding the OSRAM Classic A CL (42 W) for example. This is the same amount of carbon dioxide that one tree can absorb in this time. Your wallet will also benefit because cost savings may be over 6 euros. Cost savings are obviously even greater when you consider that the wide range of Halogen Energy Saver lamps last at least twice as long (2000 to 5000 hours) as ordinary light bulbs. And when after all that time the light finally goes out the lamps can be simply thrown away with normal household waste because only eco-friendly materials are used in their production.
