High luminance for effect lighting applications

HTI lamps are available in both single-ended and double-ended design, although HTI lamps do not have an outer bulb. The most important feature of HTI lamps is their high luminance, which allows the generated light to be collected and conducted particularly well. For this reason, HTI lamps are employed in most modern effect lighting fixtures. Thanks to the high luminance, it is possible to increase the lighting power of the device while at the same time making it smaller and easier to build; all this without increasing the lamp’s power consumption. Depending on the application area and lamps, colour temperatures lie between 4300 and 7500K.
