The UART interface offers the possibility to establish a communication via two wires between projector and OSRAM lamp driver.

UNISHAPE can be used with several lamp types and wattages, and has no adverse effect on lamp life.
Depending on the particular projection system design, Osram's UNISHAPE technology can increase the
overall system efficiency. This allows the use of lower lamp wattages to produce performance similar tothat of non-UNISHAPE systems.
