OSRAM wins TEMOT International Supplier Award 2016

The OSRAM Specialty Lighting Business Unit was honored in the “Sales & Marketing” category during the TEMOT conference in Barcelona for shareholders and suppliers.
TEMOT International is one of the largest international buying groups in the international automotive aftermarket industry. During their 2017 annual meeting and executive supplier event in Barcelona, they recognized the outstanding performance of the best suppliers in 2016 in various categories. The “Sales & Marketing Award 2016” was presented to representatives of OSRAM Specialty Lighting.
Approximately 400 professionals, shareholders and suppliers from all over the world met in Barcelona for TEMOT International’s annual meeting and executive suppliers event. Part of the meeting was the award ceremony: The best suppliers where honored in five categories - Global Supplier, Sales & Marketing, Commercial Vehicles, Supplier Of the Year and Most Valuable Partner. The evaluations were carried out by the shareholders of TEMOT International and were based on the performance of all TEMOT suppliers for the period of 12 months in 2016. OSRAM Specialty Lighting was honored for its achievements in the “Sales & Marketing 2016” category. The award was presented to the OSRAM team comprising Terje Noevig (Head of Automotive Aftermarket), Patrick Wiglinghaus (Sales Director Automotive AM EU NW, IBERIA, IONIA), Nikolai Dianov (Cluster Head Eastern Europe) and Alla Muntian, (Business Development Manager, NEOLUX).
OSRAM’s performance was recognized by TEMOT International for 2 reasons: First, on the common strategy of OSRAM and NEOLUX. “Two brands, one team: unlimited opportunities!” At a face-to-face meeting one of the TEMOT shareholders said: “We as OSRAM customers want a better approach and better services, and your two-brand strategy has clear advantages for us”. And second, because of the regional customized activities as TEMOT shareholder added: “There are regions with outstanding performance in realizing the genuine sales and promotion activities needed by the shareholders for both brands, OSRAM and NEOLUX”. For OSRAM this is an outstanding reward for hard work as Terje Noevig – Head of Aftermarket - noted: “We are very honored and the award is great motivation for the Aftermarket team to push forward even further in serving our customers.”
