The new IoT-capable light management system
DALI Pro 2 IoT from OSRAM is a new light management system (LMS) which is fully certified according to the current DALI-2 standard and stands out due to easy, browser-based commissioning.
Equipped with an integrated WiFi dongle, DALI Pro 2 IoT can be conveniently commissioned via a WLAN hotspot. Both the assignment of individual luminaire groups and the setting of lighting profiles can be performed on a tablet or smartphone, etc. Pre-programmed lighting profiles – such as “Single Office”, “Open-plan office”, “Hallway” and so on – which have already been created in the system can greatly simplify these tasks.
Homogeneous light lines as a recipe for success: Find out about the benefits of our new flexible LED strips LINEARlight Flex Uniformity
The new series is the perfect choice for harmonious indoor and outdoor designs and artistically emphasizes shapes and geometries in order to bring out the special charm of architecture. Arranged in sequence these cutting-edge LED strips ensure seamless transitions in multiple contexts and applications.
The new OTi DX 30 and 50 L can be conveniently integrated into building management systems and, of course, the Internet of Things (IoT). Both products have official D4I certification, ensuring active DALI bus supply (Part 250) and providing both luminaire (Part -251) and monitoring data (Parts 252 to 253). This means that all OTi DX drivers – Compact, Linear and Outdoor – come with a D4I certification.
Larger selection of light colors for even more applications: PrevaLED BRICK HP LED modules
The PrevaLED BRICK HP family of LED modules now offers an even larger color spectrum of white light. In addition, the new high-performance modules provide the perfect combination of greater brightness and even more performance.
Have you ever heard about Reuse Brew? Believe it or not, this beer is actually brewed from purified wastewater – in addition to hops and barley malt. And: It even complies with the German Beer Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot, in force since 1516)! With this beer, a Berlin-based water technology enterprise provides evidence that even wastewater is a valuable resource.
The wastewater runs through a series of high-tech purification processes that transform it into pure drinking water. To achieve the highest possible purity levels, a special lighting technology is applied at the end of this sophisticated process chain.
Question: What is the last treatment stage the water has to run through in order to be perfectly suitable for Reuse Brew?
a) Light in the visible range with immense luminous intensities of more than 3x 1018 cd
b) Infrared irradiation via the Re-use method
c) UV oxidation with UV light in the so-called MiPRO process
