New EU regulations on ecodesign and energy labeling of lighting components
Compulsory from September 1, 2021: new requirements for energy efficiency, product information, etc.
The new EU regulations on ecodesign and energy labeling which entered into force in December 2019 will become compulsory from September 1, 2021. From this time onwards, all light sources and separate control gear must comply with these new ecodesign requirements.
