Street Light Control RF (SLC RF) is a light management platform that communicates via radio and provides interfaces for Smart City functions. The product from the manufacturer Tvilight enables a scalable sensor- and data infrastructure that is independent of luminaire manufacturers.
If required, open interfaces are available for the integration of third-party systems such as Smart City applications. The innovative CitySense motion detector forms the heart of this Street Light Control platform, with which lighting systems can be controlled according to motion.
  • Fully wireless communication: Tvilight provides a robust, wireless communication solution that is ideal for demanding environments | The wireless, self-configuring and self-healing networks based on 2.4 GHz use a broadband communication signal that is ideal for outdoor applications and tunnel-like surroundings.
  • Universal luminaire compatibility: The control system can be universally combined with all dimmable luminaires. Complete functionality is enabled by the bidirectional DALI communication, whereby all luminaire status messages can be queried and displayed in the management software used | The external controller/sensor enables all dimmable luminaires to also be retroactively integrated into the control system for upgrading with additional functions.
  • Third-party compatibility (software and hardware): Where possible, we use manufacturer-independent standards or enable the integration of third-party systems through open interfaces (API).
Precise energy calculation:
The CityManager is able to generate precise energy consumption data and savings data based on the stored luminaire data.
Clear and informative:
You gain extensive insights into the lighting network. Smart Analytics and clear graphics help you make important decisions about your lighting infrastructure.
Precise real-time data:
Data and analyses are generated for single or several luminaires. Data is available regarding luminaire type, driver, luminaire settings and burning time in the various dimming levels.
Continuous support:
Regular free updates and the possibility to integrate further functions (may be chargeable) achieve safety, optimum functionality and system efficiency.
Automated failure reports:
Automatic reports provide responsible managers with clean documentation for their contracting entities without the need for personnel-intensive testing of luminaires. This allows specialists to concentrate on the important tasks.
Map-based visualisations:
Outdoor lighting is depicted on Google Maps via a graphic interface and positioned via GPS, enabling the simple localisation, monitoring and control of single luminaires.
Location related options (in preparation):
Illuminance levels can be set according to context to reflect local conditions such as peak and off-peak times, sunrise and sunset, weather changes, special events and emergency situations.
