How many test rigs does the laboratory have?

In the laboratory, there are 90 test rigs in total.

Is it possible to view the laboratory before the trial test?

Yes, it is possible. Please contact us to arrange a viewing.

Can I accompany the test execution on site?

Yes, accompaniment is possible in special cases. Please contact us to arrange an accompaintment.

What is the procedure for shipping the test items?

Items are shipped via the OSRAM logistics center. It takes about 2-3 days for the test specimens to arrive at the laboratory.

How can I make sure my test item fits inside the test chamber?

Our climatic chambers have a test space volume of up to 1500l. Therefore, the test chamber has the dimensions 100 cm x 140 cm.

Is it possible to provide my own control for the test procedures?

Yes, you can build your own test rig.

My test item requires a special test fixture. How is the mounting of the test item on the test rig realized?

Based on the CAD data provided by the customer, test fixtures, so-called mechanical test racks, can be created individually for the customer. In addition, a fixture can be developed by the customer after consultation with OSRAM.

Up to which weight can test items be tested on the shaker?

The weight permitted varies depending on the test itself. Up to 80kg are possible.

How are the test results documented?

After each test, a test report is generated with the defined test type, set-up images, reference images, deviations, standards, specifications and the results.
