XBO Flicker
If flicker is observed after installing a new lamp, the following should be checked:
- Has the lamp been allowed to warm up for at least 10 minutes?
- Have you selected the correct lamp type in the projector menu during installation?
- Is the lamp being operated within the correct operational parameters for current and wattage (refer to Service Card inside the lamp box or online)?
- Does a static image displayed onscreen appear to vibrate/shake ? If so, please check the exhaust fans to make sure they are not responsible for the vibration.
- Is the lamp correctly aligned within the projector's optical system (reflector)?
- If flicker is observed during the lamp's lifetime, the previous and the following should be checked:
- Perform a realignment of the lamp in order to reposition the arc in the focal point of the reflector. After lamp alignment does the symptom improve?
- Set the projector lamp power from 85% to 100% of maximum power. Does the symptom improve?
