If the lamp ignites poorly or not at all the following needs to be checked:
- Was the lamp installed correctly? See projector instruction manual or view our lamp installation videos.
- Are there any loose connections in the lamphouse, finger tight is not alright?
- Have you tested the lamp in another projector and experienced a failure as well?
- Are all projector filters clean and is the extraction system functioning at the correct levels?
- Is the projector running with current projector/lamp software?
- If you use Christie projector: Is the douser open during ignition?
- Has the ignition wire been damaged? (thin silver wire running along the length of the lamp)
- Does the projector software report any errors during ignition, what do the status lights look like on the projector lamp power supply?
