How does the guarantee work?

Follow these 4 steps to redeem your guarantee.

1 | Submit your guarantee claim.
Complete our online guarantee claim form and describe the issue you have experienced.

2 | Provide proof of purchase.
To process your guarantee claim, we require a valid proof of purchase showing the purchase date. For products eligible for an extended “+1 year guarantee”, additional proof of installation by a professional workshop is required.

3 | Claim review by OSRAM.
Our team will review your guarantee claim and assess whether the issue is covered by the manufacturer's guarantee as a material or manufacturing defect.

4 | Obtain a remedy.
If your guarantee claim is approved, you will receive a new or equivalent replacement product.

What is covered by the guarantee?
The manufacturer's guarantee covers the retention of the product's required functions and performance throughout the guarantee period, provided it is used for its intended purpose and for non-commercial use. Should a defect covered by this guarantee occur during this period, the terms and conditions set out below shall apply.

Which countries are covered by the guarantee?
The OSRAM manufacturer's guarantee is available only in countries where OSRAM provides guarantee services. An overview of the participating countries can be found in the country overview.

Does the guarantee affect my statutory consumer rights?
Your statutory consumer rights against the seller remain unaffected by the manufacturer's guarantee.
