Lowlight Output

If the initial light output on your Xenon lamp seems low or has decreased rapidly following installation, please check the following:

• Ensure that there are no gaps or loose connections in the lamp area, a 2mm gap can cost you as much as 50% of your light onscreen due to misalignment with the reflector.
• Have you selected the correct lamp type in the projector menu?
• Is the lamp being operated at the maximum allowed lamp power?
• Is there strong bulb blackening visible upon inspection of the lamp?
• Is the optical system (reflector, UV filter, lenses, port glass window) dusty and soiled?
• Is the lamp correctly aligned within the projector's optical system (reflector)?
• If another lamp is installed does the problem persist? (If the problem is corrected by installing another lamp and you are certain that in the initial installation there were no gaps left, the initial lamp may be suffering from an air leak and should be returned to OSRAM).
