Professional Lighting Design Convention 2013 (PLDC): OSRAM presented the world's unique museum lighting installation of the Lenbachhaus

One of the top themes during the PLDC: museum lighting. For this reason OSRAM exhibited products and solutions dealing with this topic. Thus, possibilities of daylight integration, light art and LED project solutions from the Museum “Lenbachhaus” in Munich were presented. With on-site spectrum measurements the colleagues could proof the high quality of OSRAM products and solutions.

The Danish capital Copenhagen was host of this year’s international lighting design conference PLDC. From October 30 to November 2, some 1.300 experts from the areas of lighting design, architecture and related fields met there to inform themselves about the newest trends and technologies. The conference comprised more than 70 presentations held by experts, an extensive supporting program as well as an exhibition – designed by the sponsoring companies – to which OSRAM also contributed.

The “Professional Lighting Design Convention“ is a biannual convention and was created for the global lighting design market. Designers, lighting architects, researchers, universities, industry and clients use the PLDC for knowledge transfer and international networking opportunities. OSRAM presented itself as a competent partner in international project business.
