Redesign of the conference zone in the headquarters of the Allianz AG, Munich.

The design proposal of the Munich architects office of Leniger & Raible came out on top in a competition. The conference area is where the most important meetings and events of the Allianz AG take place in front of the press and public. A high-grade spatial design and a carefully conceived distribution of light give a pleasant impression to the visitor.

 

Individual conversation areas vs. complete conference area
With sliding walls, individual conversation areas can be created or a complete conference area for 500 visitors set up.

In these areas, pure light unfolds its stunning effects and has been integrated consistently into architecture. Beacons are concealed around the room. Indirect and direct illumination components are harmoneously balnced. A combination of both components provides heright setting for meetings, conventions and press conferences.

Long before the building work started, the executive board was able to assess the architecture and the light concept through a photo-realistic visualization.
