Ray Sono, Munich, Germany
A company cannot attract new customers with professional competence alone. The impression of the building itself and its impact on customers play a major role when it comes to placing a contract. The lighting concept at Ray Sono, Munich, creatively meets all the special requirements of the reception area, conference rooms and workstations. Dynamic, colored lighting scenarios allow creative working in a comfortable atmosphere.
The internet agency Ray Sono AG moved into a new office located in the South of Munich. OSRAM was given the opportunity to create the lighting concept for the following areas:
- Reception area
- Conference room
- Workstations
The reception with its waiting and information area is characterized by an especially generous design that was to be enhanced by the lighting architecture. The basic illumination is composed of asymmetric uplights that are installed in the ceiling, invisible for visitors. Thanks to the dimmable illuminant the light intensity can be adjusted from 0% to 100%.
Conference room
To allow for the different requirements of the users, the two conference rooms are fitted with adjustable lighting systems that provide a mixture of fluorescent and halogen lamps. The fluorescent lamp is used as a basic lighting element for reasons of economy and the halogen lamp accentuates the lighting for the tables in the conference rooms.
Besides white fluorescent lamps, colored (blue and red) lamps were installed as well in one of the conference rooms. This lighting system makes it possible to change the colors and create a special atmosphere for meetings with customers or employeers.
Workstations
The lighting system for the workstations, especially in internet agencies, should be glare-free to offer the best conditions for employeers. An indirect glowing lighting system was installed as basic lighting. For direct lighting every workstation has been equipped with the OSRAM DULUX TABLE EL desk light. This makes the lighting system more economical and appropriate to each individual´s working times.
