Planning process
OSRAM was involved in the pre-planning stages with illumination level calculations as well as in the planning of the lighting concept itself.
The calculations helped to support the decision-making process to see if the planned indirect lighting meets the requirements of EN 12464-1.

Lighting concept
The core where the lighting concept is derived from, is an approximately 15m long, suspended light element made of oak. It has been designed for two tasks: on the one hand, a satisfactory basic illumination was achieved by means of indirectly shining fluorescent lamps. This is ensured by using more than 40 single-lamp batten luminaires 58W and 36W OSRAM ECOPACK DIM.
On the other hand, integrated downlights are projected for the accentuating, direct illumination. The lighting system is controlled via an EIB bus system.
Further aspects of the concept are a suspended decorative low-voltage track system over the reception counter as well as wall-mounted luminaires, which put the architecture in perspective.
