Lighting design for one of the longest floodlit ski areas in Germany.

At Hocheck, Oberaudorf, OSRAM won an order for the design and visualization for one of the longest floodlit ski areas in Germany. In addition to the planning work, a visualization model of the ski course was created to assist the decision-making process.

 

Lighting design and Visualisation
Using computer-aided illuminace calculations, it was possible to define the coordinates with regard to the required luminous intensity, blinding restriction and color characteristics of the light sources.
Based on these results the volumes of light masts and headlights were defined.

In addition to the planning, OSRAM created a visualization model of the ski course to assist the investors in their decision-making process, which supported a very realistic rating of the project.
