Lightweight versions for the big brothers of aluPAR 56
Installing aluPAR 64 lamps at light shows, in studios and in theatres is no longer a question of who has the biggest muscles. Thanks to their precise lightweight aluminium reflectors these lamps weigh up to 50 percent less and are up to ten percent brighter than their predecessors. This weight advantage makes handling easier, and compatibility with the market standard means that the lamps are suitable for universal use.
For the new OSRAM aluPAR 64 family of lamps a lightweight aluminium reflector is used instead of a glass reflector. Not only does this make relamping easier, it also saves on warehousing and transport costs. The halogen burner with its compact filament and high-precision reflector contour make the lamp up to ten percent brighter than its predecessors. The patented integrated lamp fuse to DIN IEC 60432-2 prevents the bulb from bursting, which adds to operational safety. Due to the lamp’s modular construction, in which the aluminium parabolic reflector and the front glass shield are mechanically linked to one another, the lamps can be separated into their individual components at the end of their lives for environmentally friendly disposal. It was these product characteristics that convinced the jury at PLASA 2005 to present the Innovation Award to the little brother, the aluPAR 56.
The aluPAR 64 lamps are available with different luminous intensities, voltages and beam angles, namely Very Narrow Spot (VNSP), Narrow Spot (NSP), Medium Flood (MFL) and Wide Flood (WFL).
